District 22-C Night Social
Dear Lions,
You are cordially invited to attend the District’s 75th Annual 22-C Night on April 18,
2020 at the Comfort Inn Conference Center, 4500 Crain Highway, Bowie, MD 20716.
The evening will honor District Governor Sonia Wiggins, First Gentleman David, and
all Lions of District 22-C. A Social Hour will be held from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m. Our
District 22-C Youth Honor Band will perform beginning at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be
served at 7:00 p.m.
Dinner will consist of Salad, Sliced Top Round Beef on a shared plate with Salmon in a
Lemon Cream Sauce, Vegetable, Starch, Rolls & Butter and Dessert. Vegetarian and
Vegan meals are available upon advance request.
Following dinner the Humanitarian Award will be presented to Alpha Kappa Alpha
sorority. PID Cynthia “Cindy” Gregg will be our International Guest and Speaker.
District 22-C Honor Roll recipients and Club “S.M.I.L.E. Heroes” will be recognized,
and the District Distinguished Service Award will be presented.
The cost of the meal is $50.00 per person. Please share this information and the
attached reservation form with other Lions in your Clubs and Districts. Tables seat 10
and you are encouraged to make your reservations early. The attached reservation
forms along with checks made out to “District 22-C Social”should be mailed to arrive
no later than April 4, 2020 to our Ticket Chair, PCC Dee Hawkins at 17807 Lafayette
Drive, Olney, MD 20832. Tickets will be available at the door and will not be mailed.
Hotel accommodations are available at the Comfort Inn. The discounted rate is $107
(King) and $116 (2 Double) plus applicable taxes. In order to receive this rate call 301-
464-0089 prior to March 18, 2020 using the code “Lions” to identify the group.
We are looking forward to seeing you on April 18, 2020 for an evening of celebrating
Lions.
